HILLTOWN TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
REGULARY SCHEDULED MEETING
MONDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2018
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Hilltown Township Board of Supervisors was called to order by Chairman John B. McIlhinney at 6:10 PM and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Also in attendance were Supervisor James Groff, Township Manager Lorraine Leslie, Township Solicitor Stephen Harris, and Chief of Police Christopher Engelhart. Vice-Chairman Ken Bennington was absent.
1. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Chairman McIlhinney announced Supervisor Ken Bennington is in favor of the Amendment to the Regulations for Yard Waste Ordinance.
2. PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY: None.
3. CONSENT AGENDA:
a) Minutes of the October 8, 2018 BOS Meeting
b) Bills List – October 23, 2018
Motion was made by Supervisor Groff, seconded by Chairman McIlhinney and carried unanimously to accept and approve items a) and b) on the Consent Agenda. There was no public comment.
4. CONFIRMED APPOINTMENT: None.
5. LEGAL:
a) Solicitor Harris stated the fence agreement for Jim & Dina Bennett, 317 Victoria Lane, has been revised to state the installation of a black aluminum fence instead of a wrought iron fence. Motion was made by Supervisor Groff, seconded by Chairman McIlhinney and carried unanimously to approve the fence agreement containing the correction to install a black aluminum fence on the property of Jim & Dina Bennett. There was no public comment.
b) Solicitor Harris stated the Hold Harmless Agreement has been received and executed by Maria Miletto and David Rihl for a fence not to be placed surrounding the stormwater management basin at Lot 10 in the Galway Farm Subdivision. Motion was made by Supervisor Groff, seconded by Chairman McIlhinney and carried unanimously to approve the Hold Harmless Agreement executed by Maria Miletto and David Rihl for a fence not to be placed surrounding the

c) Authorization to adopt the Amendment to the Regulations for Yard Waste Ordinance No. 2018-003 – Solicitor Harris stated the Amendment to the Regulations for Yard Waste Ordinance was advertised and is ready for adoption. Motion was made by Supervisor Groff, seconded by Chairman McIlhinney and carried unanimously to adopt Ordinance No. 2018-003, Amendment to the Regulations for Yard Waste Ordinance. Chairman McIlhinney stated Supervisor Bennington is in favor of the Amendment to the Regulations for Yard Waste Ordinance. There was no public comment.

13. ADJOURNMENT: Upon motion by Supervisor Groff, seconded by Chairman McIlhinney and carried unanimously, the October 22, 2018 Hilltown Township Board of Supervisors meeting was adjourned at 6:17 PM.
