Hilltown Township Clarifies Status of EMS Provider Discussions
Hilltown Township, October 20, 2026 - Hilltown Township (the “Township”) is clarifying that the Board of Supervisors (the “Board”) has made no decision to change the Township’s emergency medical services (“EMS”) providers.
At its September 28, 2026, meeting, members of the Board requested preparation of a resolution concerning a potential EMS provider change to Central Bucks EMS for consideration at its October 26, 2026, meeting. Requesting preparation of a resolution is not approval of that resolution or authorization to implement a change.
Any statement or impression that Hilltown has already decided to switch EMS providers is incorrect.
Residents, neighboring municipalities, and EMS organizations should refer to the Township’s official meeting notices, agendas, and meeting videos for updates. Any decision regarding a provider change will be considered at a public meeting.
